The Radio Show

It's estimated that four out of five people dislike what they do for a living--and many hate their jobs. Think of it. The majority of us would rather be doing almost anything else with the forty, fifty, even sixty hours a week we spend at work. At The Career Clinic, we think that's a shame. And tha...

On the Radio

You know what saying, "Go big or go home?" Consultant Bill Jensen thinks it's more like, "Go big or you'll be sent home." He'll show you how to be epic. Listen Sunday at 4p Eastern.

Then you'll thank me for introducing you to PJ Jonas, who homeschools her eight children and--with her husband and those eight kids-- runs Goat Milk Stuff. I don't know if I've ever been more enchanted. Listen Sunday at 9p Pacific

The other day Darrell and I watched a man navigate an intersection in town with a little kid. The child was old enough to walk, but barely. And at least three times as the pair made their way across the street, the kid sort of collapsed onto herself the way kids do when they decide they’re not walking anymore. Never thought I'd suggest polling people to discover your calling. @JohnTesh made me reconsider... http://huff.to/16DYRmM via @HuffPostBiz

Hubby’s watching a movie. I keep interrupting. “It’s okay,” he just said. “Nobody said anything yet.” Pause. “They haven’t had time.”

You run into an acquaintance who’s lost a lot of weight. “Wow! You look great!” makes it sound like she didn’t, always. Help, please.

Career Education

At The Career Clinic, we think it's important for students to get their hopes up when deciding what to do in work and in life. That's why we're eager to partner with high schools and colleges to inspire young people to pursue their dream careers. Maureen's presentations are perfect for students--whether at freshman orientation, career fairs, or workshops and other venues.

More Books

Maureen has also written two other books. Staying the Course: A Runner's Toughest Race, with Dick Beardsley, chronicles the former marathon champion's life from unknown high school runner through a very public battle with drug addiction. Left for Dead: A Second Life after Vietnam, with Jon Hovde, is another story of a life rebuilt--but this time from the vantage point of a combat-wounded soldier.
